Over 55s Leisure & Learning - Awakening the Artist Within

Are you looking to experience something new? Join us, as we create an Australian bird and landscape artwork in watercolour.

If you are a beginner or beginner-intermediate and want to experience different mediums, such as:

• Watercolour

• Acrylic

• Drawing

You will be encouraged and guided step by step to create some lovely pieces.

Join us, have fun, meet some new people and create an Australian bird and landscape in watercolour with Carmel, a landscape in Acrylic with Jan – depending on what medium students wish to develop further, we tailor the last 4 lessons to meet that need. No 2 terms have been the same! Jan may even offer a pastel session with our next group as something extra special.  

*Make sure you wear comfortable shoes and old clothing as paint and charcoal are messy!!

MATERIALS:

FIRST 3 LESSONS: All watercolour materials will be provided for the first three lessons, all you need to do is turn up!!!!

• Acrylic Paints: will be required for 4th lesson, we will give you advice on what materials/brand to purchase.

• Acrylic Brushes: will be required for 4th lesson, we will give you advice on what you require.

• Canvasses: you will be advised of size the week prior to needing these.

START TIME:  9.40am so we can set up and be ready to start session at 10am.

Tea and coffee available.

Dates: Every Friday from 28 April - 30 June 2023 (10 week program)

Time: 10:00am-12:00pm (please try and arrive at 9:40am)

Location: Parramatta Art Studio + Gallery - Shop 6, 4-14 Hunter St

Fees: $67.20-$118.15

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a new participant, a registration form MUST be completed for processing in order for you to able to join our activities.
