Late Night Economy

The night time economy includes any activity that operates late into the night or early morning including small bars, bars, pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants, retail shops, convenience stores, 24 hour gyms, performance venues, cultural and sporting events, and cultural spaces that provide for the entertainment and/or convenience of residents, workers, students and visitors.

Council has developed the Late Night Trading DCP to enable a vibrant and diverse nightlife in Parramatta CBD, aligned to Council’s goal to foster a safe, thriving and diverse night-time economy, promoting Parramatta CBD as a vibrant 24-hour City.
