Join us for a walk down memory lane as we explore the history of Centenary Square and it's surrounding historical buildings.
Parramatta has a rich history dating back thousands of years, when the Burramadagal of the Dharug nation called this area home. After the British arrived, the Colony expanded and so did Parramatta’s heritage. We only explore a small part of the amazing stories that are making up Parramatta’s past. Part of the story is Centenary Square with its rich background, Parramatta Town Hall and the oldest church ground within Australia, where now St John’s Cathedral stands. We will have a very special visit to St John’s with a guided introduction by a church leader.
