As part of commemorative events programs honouring Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and her 70 years of service, City of Parramatta planted large Eucalypts in Upjohn Park, Rydalmere.
Fifteen Sydney Red Gum and Sydney Blue Gum now line the path alongside the exercise area.
In February 2023, the project was completed, and a plaque installed to mark the planting.
The project is jointly-funded by City of Parramatta and the Australian
Government’s Planting Trees for the Queen’s Jubilee Program
