New waste collection service - FOGO

FOGO - New bin roll out

Council will replace all bins before the FOGO service starts. This is to ensure bins are the right size, have the correct signage and to minimise repair costs. Bins have an average lifespan of around 10 years and whilst bins in some properties are in a satisfactory condition, there are many others that require ongoing maintenance. Council has taken the opportunity to schedule an LGA-wide bin replacement program as a part of the FOGO rollout. All old bins will be recycled.

What will happen during bin replacement?
