Calling all young nature enthusiasts!

Get ready for a fun-filled gardening adventure where you'll learn the magic of plants and the joys of growing your own fruits, veggies and herbs. Discover the secrets of plant care as we explore the essential needs of our leafy friends, find out why growing your own fruits, veggies and herbs is so awesome, get your hands dirty as we dig into the wonderful world of soil and be amazed as we showcase a variety of herbs. Let your imagination run wild as you decorate your very own biodegradable pot and pick your favourite herb seedling to plant and take home. Let's dig in and grow something amazing!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • This activity is suitable for children aged 4 -12 years
  • The workshop is FREE however registrations are essential
  • For children aged 4 and under: Parents and Guardians are required to stay with children for the duration of the workshop 
  • For Children aged 5-12 years: Parents and Guardians are welcome to stay or may sign in their children, but must remain onsite within PHIVE and be contactable for the duration of the program  
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to allow for registration 
  • If you can no longer attend, please contact education@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au to cancel your ticket
