BOOKED OUT
Join us to create a Pressed Flower Art with Florapeutic, our local award-winning social enterprise that rescues and repurposes flowers that are otherwise wasted.
In this hands-on workshop, children will learn about the impact of flower waste going into landfills, how to minimise the impact and one of the creative ways to repurpose the botanicals - Pressed Flower Art. Children will design and create their own artwork using a Nordic-style double-sided wood frame and pressed botanicals. Children will also learn basic knowledge of pressed flowers and how to handle delicate botanicals with tweezers and glue.
