Block Printing Masterclass for Adults

block printing

In this 4 week course, you'll immerse yourself in the process of intricately carving designs onto linoleum blocks, skillfully applying paint to the carefully etched surface, and bringing these designs to life on paper. Students will also learn some history on block printing which is an ancient textile tradition that originated in the Rajasthan Desert region of India.

Participating in a linocut class offers students a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental techniques and skills required to craft their very own linocut prints. You will be guided with demonstrations providing you with hands-on practice to ensure you gain a deep understanding of the linocut process. Students will follow a step-by-step approach, gradually building their knowledge of the printmaking process. Take home your own linocut and artwork at the end of the 4 weeks!
