Look out for the giant inflatable air dancers beckoning you into Parramatta's newest and pinkest building: Parramatta Artists Studios, Granville. Opening its doors on Saturday 27 July, take a look inside and find out how the art you see in galleries is made. Open Day invites you to explore the 12 working studio spaces, meet the artists and join in on a day filled with family-friendly activities.
Artists will be running creative workshops for all-ages and visitors will experience exciting performances, interactive demonstrations and more. Get a personalised tarot reading, learn how to make your own pickles and take home a DIY botanical badge you’ll create in the studio. Be immersed in First Nations storytelling with a special performance from Jannawi Dance Clan. Bring the kids to a dedicated making space in the front of the studios with engaging art workshops throughout the day.
