Our Community Grants Program

City of Parramatta Council’s Community Grants provide a funding opportunity for the Parramatta Local Government Area (LGA). The grants program aims to support local not-for-profit community, recreation and sporting groups, clubs, organisations, services, social enterprises and in some cases individuals.

Through the Community Grants, Council supports a wide range of services and activities that contribute to the City of Parramatta’s vision and priorities.

What is a grant?

Grants are one of many options for community organisations and individuals seeking financial assistance. Depending on the needs of your organisation and the requirements of a grant, grants may or not may not be the most appropriate funding avenue for you.

Grants are highly competitive, so it is important to read the guidelines before applying to ensure that your project matches the goals and objectives of the grant.
