Have your say on a planning proposal at Rawson Street in Epping

City of Parramatta is inviting residents to have their say on proposed changes to planning controls (Planning Proposal) for 53-61 Rawson Street, Epping. The site is currently occupied by a Coles Supermarket and an office building.

The proposed amendments to the planning controls would facilitate a future two tower (36 and 33 storey) mixed-use redevelopment at 53-61 Rawson Street, Epping. The objective of the Planning Proposal is to increase the site’s total permissible commercial floorspace and associated building heights.

It is envisioned the future mixed used redevelopment would include a full line supermarket, ground floor retail (shops, cafes, restaurants), approximately 7,430 sqm of office space and 420 apartments. Any development would be subject to a future Development Application.

Residents with questions about the proposal can book a phone appointment with Council’s planning team or a one-on-one in person session.

To find out more and have your say, visit the Participate Parramatta website.

Hard copies of the proposal can also be viewed at:

  • Epping Library - Chambers Court, Epping
  • Parramatta Library at PHIVE – 5 Parramatta Square, Parramatta

Submissions close 5pm on Monday 16 December 2024.
