We want to build a socially sustainable and connected Parramatta, strengthened by our diverse communities.
Our city is in the midst of significant change and being socially sustainable is more important than ever. Social sustainability is about making sure everyone in our community is healthy and given fair and equitable access to opportunities. Council’s role is to ensure that everyone in our community is safe, socially connected, and that they have the skills and resources they need to live with dignity and thrive.
This is why we need a long-term strategy. The draft Social Sustainability Strategy is a 10-year strategy that replaces the Socially Sustainable Parramatta Framework (SSPF) 2017-2021.
Visit Participate Parramatta to discover the priority areas of the draft Social Sustainability Strategy and see how you can help create a safer city, empowering our community to have a great quality of life.
