PHIVE has come alive during the school holidays with the unique sights and sounds of Australia’s landscape as part of a new family friendly interactive playspace experience, Creature.
This free immersive experience is situated in PHIVE’s Discover Space, allowing children of all ages to virtually experience Australian wildlife and landscapes.
City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Sameer Pandey said it’s one of many unique activities happening in Parramatta during the school holidays.
“This is a great chance for local families to explore the Australian bush from the heart of Parramatta’s CBD,” Cr Pandey said.
“Creature might be designed for kids, but adults can also appreciate the spectacular sounds and amazing video production used to produce this interactive experience.
“It’s just one of the amazing school holiday activities being hosted at our community facilities.”
Families can also book Creature workshop performances for children aged three to eight to engage with the digital installation through play, dance, movement, improvisation, and storytelling. Tickets for the workshops are $10 and bookings are required.
Creature is on at PHIVE between 1 July and 16 July, with workshop performances running from 6 July to 13 July.
