City of Parramatta is constructing a new pedestrian refuge island at park parade at the pedestrian underpass to Parramatta Park.
Asphalting works for road pavement resurfacing will occur over two-night shifts on the 27 July 2023 and 28 July 2023.
Please note that this work involves road profiling to remove existing pavement material which is a relatively noisy activity. The work will commence at 9pm in accordance with the road occupancy licence issued by TfNSW and will continue through 5am.
Unfortunately, this work cannot be undertaken during normal business hours as it will require a full road closure which TfNSW has not allowed council to implement during the day.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as Council completes the necessary infrastructure improvements, and apologise for the inconveniences caused as a result of the works.
