Completed in April 2021, the Escarpment Boardwalk is an important missing link in the Parramatta Valley Cycleway.

2017 Charles Street Square Strategy

The Charles Street Square Strategy advances the vision set out in the Parramatta City River Strategy 2015 with a plan to guide future design and development of Parramatta Quay.

It establishes an aspiration for a distinct public place that connects the Ferry Wharf with the CBD, providing a point of orientation, a site of arrival and departure, spaces for meetings and events, and a place of movement between the City and River that is equitable and legible for all visitors.

The strategy is now being realised via a design and work towards construction.
