A new Community Recycling Centre is coming to Parramatta
City of Parramatta Council is currently undertaking planning and key approvals for a permanent drop-off centre for problem household waste items. Council’s Community Recycling Centre (CRC) will be located at North Parramatta.
Community Recycling Centres offer safe disposal options as well as saves water, energy and other valuable natural resources. Our Community Recycling Centre will be commissioned to collect NSW Environmental Protection Authority authorised problem wastes.
These include:
- Paint
- Household and car batteries
- Gas bottles
- Fluorescent globes and tubes.
Council will continue to explore other waste initiatives that can be provided at the facility.
