ABOUT THE COUNCIL:

The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles, and experiences

ABOUT THE TENDER:  

Council is inviting Tenders from experienced civil engineering contractors to construct two pedestrian & cyclist crossings on Good Street and Alfred Street (under M4), Granville

The scope of work includes:

• Construction of two, 75mm high raised pedestrian & cyclist crossings in reinforced concrete, one each on Good Street and Alfred Street.
• Construction of 7 stormwater pits and supply & lay stormwater RC pipes.
• Construction of kerb & gutter, footpath, and approach ramps to the crossings.
• Pavement markings, signposting, and asphalt re-sheeting of the road pavement.
• Street lighting installation required for new traffic facilities.

A decision regarding this tender will be made by the end of August 2023, with works anticipated to commence in late September 2023.  The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.

No pre-tender meeting is proposed, however it is recommended that prospective Tenderers visit the project site to confirm 'scope of work', and if questions arise submit these via the Tenderlink forum or to tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au
