ITT 19/2024 Somerville Park Improvement Project
ABOUT THE COUNCIL:
The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences
ABOUT THE TENDER:
City of Parramatta Council is proposing to construct the Somerville Park Improvement Project. This project upgrades the park infrastructure at Somerville Park involving the upsizing of the ‘local’ level playground to a ‘local high-density’ level playground with:
- A basketball mini-court;
- Improved site access including circulation paths;
- Outdoor fitness equipment; park furniture; and
- Improvements to lighting (including sports field lighting);
Council is inviting Tenders from experienced civil engineering/landscaping contractors to implement the project.
Tenderers must have ISO Certified Systems for Work Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Management and Environmental Management to be considered for this tender.
A final decision will be made regarding this Tender in February 2025, with works anticipated to commence in March 2025. The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.
A non- mandatory pre-Tender site meeting is proposed on Tuesday, 12 November 2024 between 10:00am – 11:00am at Somerville Park, Blaxland Road, Eastwood. Tenderers are required to register their attendance by emailing the Procurement Officer at tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au
It is recommended that prospective Tenderers visit the project site to confirm 'scope of work', and if questions arise submit these via the Tenderlink forum or to tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au
