What are the car park upgrades?
All council car parks located in the Parramatta CBD will transition to a fully cashless parking system from 7 February 2025. This includes Justice Precinct, Eat Street, Parramatta Station (Wentworth Street) Car Parks with Parramatta Aquatic Centre and Parramatta Square Car Parks already cashless since their opening.
All council Multi-level Car Parks have recently undergone amenity upgrades which includes improved lighting at entry and exit with each parking level newly painted and colour coordinated.
These improvements are just the start to the upcoming car park refresh program planned to improve the Parramatta parking experience.
Cashless Car Parks

The cashless parking will provide a smoother, faster and seamless experience to get to your destination with ease. Cashless means more reliability, reducing coin jams and lengthy queues at the payment station.

Major credit cards, debit cards including VISA, Mastercard and AMEX and digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay) are accepted, charged depending on use of payment.

Payment for your parking can be made at the exit via the boom gate or at the pay stations.

There will be no additional fees applied to pay via card payment.
