As part of the Stronger Communities Fund Major Projects Program, Somerville Park received funding for an upgrade.
In November 2017, Council first invited the community’s input into proposed upgrades to Somerville Park with an online survey and onsite consultation session. Over 132 people responded with ideas for the upgrade.
Here is a snap shot of what you said.
We considered your feedback and have spent the last 18 months creating a design that endeavours to delivers works that the community has prioritised as most important.
We will begin construction in August 2019. Local residents will be notified by mail before the commencement of construction works.
