What is a podcast and how does it work?
- A digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device, typically available as a series, of new instalments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.
- Podcasting is a free service that allows Internet users to pull audio files (typically MP3s) from a podcasting web site to listen to on their computers or personal digital audio players.
- To put it simply, a podcast is an audio file and normally a series of episodes to download anytime.
