The site is state heritage listed and elements of the works are subject to a Heritage Council consent. Compliance with this consent during construction will be overseen by a Council Appointed Heritage Consultant.
ABOUT THE COUNCIL: The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences.
ABOUT THE TENDER:
Council is inviting Tenders from experienced Civil Landscape and Environmental Restoration contractors for asbestos remediation, footpath and landscape works at Experiment Farm Reserve, Parkes Street, Harris Park.
The scope of work includes but is not limited to;
- Preliminaries and site establishment, including survey set out.
- Demolition of existing concrete footpath.
- Soil remediation
- Installation of new footpath, landscaping and irrigation system
- As-Built Drawings and certification of works in compliance with design drawings and relevant standards.
- Mandatory ISO Accreditation for WHS, QA & EMS Required
A final decision will be made regarding this Tender will be made in March 2022, with works anticipated to commence in April 2022. The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.
A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting is proposed on Tuesday, 23 November 2021, between 01:00 pm and 02:00 pm at Experiment Farm Reserve, Parkes Street, Harris Park.
