ABOUT THE COUNCIL:
The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences
ABOUT THE TENDER:
City of Parramatta Council is proposing to undertake streetscape upgrade along the southern side of Phillip Street between George Khattar Lane and Charles Streets. This project will provide a generous, high quality public domain, with more space of pedestrians and outdoor dining and a street which is green, cool and comfortable.
The Scope of Works includes, but is not limited to:
- Supply and installation of new kerb and gutter, kerb ramps, vehicle laybacks, drainage works, paving, tree and understory planting;
- Supply and installation of new granite pavers to the footpath and parking bays;
- Supply and installation of new furniture, fixtures and multi-function poles;
- Supply and installation of all lighting and electrical infrastructure and comms conduits
- Supply and installation of signposts, signs, line marking, and asphalt re-sheeting; and
- Supply and installation of hydraulic infrastructure, new irrigation and misting system
Tenderers must have ISO Certified Systems for Work Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Management and Environmental Management to be considered for this tender.
A final decision will be made regarding this Tender in February 2024 with works anticipated to commence in March 2024. The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.
No pre-tender meeting is proposed, however it is recommended that prospective Tenderers visit the project site to confirm 'scope of work', and if questions arise submit these via the Tenderlink forum or to tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au
