ABOUT THE COUNCIL: 

The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences

ABOUT THE TENDER:  

Council is inviting Tenders from experienced Civil Engineering and Building contractors with Synthetic Turf field and Pavilion or similar building expertise to construct a new recreational facility at Newington Reserve, Silverwater. The project will provide a formalised synthetic sports field plus a new sports Pavilion and associated works, practice field, stormwater drainage works, general park upgrade including tree planting, furniture, barbeque facility, fitness equipment, signage and upgrade of car parking facility for park users.

Tenderers must have ISO Certified Systems for Work Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Management and Environmental Management to be considered for this tender.

A final decision will be made regarding this Tender late December 2024, with works anticipated to commence in February 2025.  The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.

Tender Briefing/Site Inspection: A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting is proposed to be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, 26 September 2024, at Newington Reserve, Silverwater.  Tenderers can register their attendance by emailing the Procurement Officer at  tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au.
