The City of Parramatta is pleased to announce the recent upgrades at Dundas Park are now complete and officially open.
To celebrate, Council is hosting a movie night at Dundas Park, with a special screening of Pokemon Detective Pikachu from 6pm.
When: Friday, 16 April, 4.30pm - 8pm
Tickets are $5 plus booking fee per person. Each ticket purchase includes a sausage sizzle, a drink and popcorn to enjoy on the night.
There will also be a live music performance by Mt. Trio from 4.30pm.
Additional purchases can be made from local café Daisys by the Park.
There will be limited seating at the event, so we encourage you to bring along a chair or picnic rug.
All registered ticket holders present on the night will also go into the draw to win one of three $50 AT Parramatta Gift Cards, which will be drawn by our Epping Ward Councillors on the night.
The upgrades at Dundas Park include the new $2.1 million Alan Hayes Pavilion with new toilets, change rooms, and a meeting room available for hire. New solar lighting around the footpath circuit and two new street libraries were also installed in 2020.
In addition to these upgrades, landscaping works will take place in April 2021 to beautify the Yates Avenue frontage of Dundas Park.
City of Parramatta is committed to upgrading public spaces such as Dundas Park to ensure that our growing local community has access to first class facilities close to home.
We listened to your feedback and worked closely with the Dundas United Recreation Club to ensure that these major upgrades met the community’s needs.
