Hot Air Balloon Ride Ballot

Fly high above the park in a hot air balloon! The tethered balloon rides run from 6am – 9am on Sunday 26 January and cost $10 per person. Tickets can only be purchased in advance through our ballot registration system. Ballot registrations open 10am, Thursday 2 January and close 5pm, Tuesday 7 January. Terms and conditions apply*.

Once the ballot is closed, winners will be randomly selected and a direct link to purchase tickets will be sent. They will have 24 hours to purchase tickets. Ballot winners will be able to purchase UP TO FOUR (4) tickets.

Balloon Ballot opens: 10am, Thursday 2 January 2025
Balloon Ballot closes: 5pm, Tuesday 7 January 2025
Tickets $10 per person. Max tickets per transaction will be four (4).

No Refund Policy

Please be aware that refunds will not be provided if hot air balloon rides are cancelled due to weather conditions. This may include wind gusts above the tree line or extremely hot weather.  If the rides are cancelled, we can still provide you with an exclusive and memorable hot air balloon experience. You'll have the opportunity to step into the basket at ground level for a photo opportunity and chat with an experienced hot air balloon pilot.

All proceeds from tickets are donated to Parramatta Mission!

Terms and Conditions

• Refunds will not be issued if rides are cancelled due to weather conditions.
• Due to safety reasons, children under 6 years are unable to ride in the hot air balloons.
• One (1) entry per household.
• Once the ballot is closed, winners will be randomly selected and a direct link to purchase tickets will be sent. They will have 24 hours to purchase tickets. Ballot winners will be able to purchase UP TO FOUR (4) tickets. 
• Any duplicate purchases may risk having their tickets cancelled without a refund.
• Hot Air Balloons may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, such as heat, wind, and lightning.
• Transaction fees may apply when purchasing ride tickets.
