About Councillor Donna Wang

Councillor Donna Wang was elected to City of Parramatta in December 2021. She represents the North Rocks Ward.

As a new Councillor, Donna is committed to making Parramatta shine as the next CBD hub of Sydney, and to be the voice of local residents, to listen to the needs of the people and for Council to serve as the guardians of the rate-payer, giving back the City to the people.

Donna is an active member of several local community organisations including as a committee member of PCYC Parramatta and local youth volunteer, and as President of the Australia International Elite Cultural and Arts Center. Since 2014, they have run a number of charity events raising money for NSW drought-affected farmers, children’s cancer patients in Westmead Hospital and the Breast Cancer Foundation. 

Professionally, Donna is a case manager for a home care and NDIS service provider serving elderly clients and their families. 
Donna is a mother of two children and the primary carer for her parents. She came to Sydney as skilled migrants in 2004 with husband Ricky and son Jerry.

Her personal interests include music, dance, art, photography, plants and sports. Donna has also created a social media platform to assist artists, musicians and writers promote their work that enriches the local community.
