Splash and Play is an interactive aquatic playgroup for parents and babies. It is the perfect way for your child to become comfortable and confident in and around the water.
These casual sessions are here to support building a routine when visiting the pool and makes the transition into swimming lessons easier for both parent and baby.
Session Information
Splash and Play sessions will be held in our heated indoor program pool during the below days/ times:
- 10:45am -11:15am Tuesday

PAC Splash and Play acts as an introduction to aquatic environment for you and your baby. Sessions cater to babies from as early as 3 months and are facilitated by a fully qualified swim teacher. It includes guidance and support on general water safety education for parents/carers and water familiarisation activities for your baby.

The program caters to up to 10 infants + 1 parent/carer. Sessions are run by 1 qualified instructor per session.

Sessions are suitable for infants aged between 3 – 6 months. It requires each child attending to have one parents or carer with them in the water. Sessions are flexible and dynamic, designed with you and your baby in mind.

Yes, a parent/carer is required to be in the water with their child at all times. This is not a structured swimming lesson. It is a wonderful way for babies and their parents or carers to develop positive connections in a supportive social environment.

The program is offered on a casual basis. Members can purchase casual passes to use to book into a session 25 hours in advance via the client portal on our website (bookings not available via the PAC App). Non-members will need to set up a guest account via our client portal available on our website before booking. Once set up, you will be able to purchase a casual pass to book into a session. You can also pay casually in centre on the day of the playgroup if spaces are available.

All infants will be required to wear a swim nappy. This ensures that no accidents occur in the water and keeps our pools clean and open for all to enjoy. These can be purchased in centre with both reusable and disposable available.
