ABOUT THE COUNCIL: 

The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences

ABOUT THE TENDER: 

City of Parramatta is proposing to construct the Alfred Street Cycleway (Stages 2A Part 1, 2A Part 2 and 2B) between Eleanor Street, Rosehill & George Street, Parramatta.  Works will include demolition of part of the existing road including kerb, drainage pits and footpath, adjustment of existing services including the existing street lighting and associated works.

The key deliverables of this Project are construction of:

(a)    Stage 2A Part 1– Alfred Street (ONLY) Cycleway works between Eleanor Street (CH 00) to Elizabeth Farm Reserve (CH 665), Rosehill;
(b)    Stage 2A Part 2 – Alfred Street (ONLY) Cycleway works between Elizabeth Farm Reserve (CH 665 to Hassall Street (CH 820), Rosehill (subject to available funding); and
(c)    Stage 2B – Alfred Street (ONLY) cycleway works between Hassall Street (CH 820) and George Street (CH 960), Rosehill (subject to available funding).

Tenderers must have ISO Certified Systems for Work Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Management and Environmental Management to be considered for this tender.

A final decision will be made regarding this Tender November 2023, with works anticipated to commence November 2023.  The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.

No pre-tender meeting is proposed, however it is recommended that prospective Tenderers visit the project site to confirm 'scope of work', and if questions arise submit these via the Tenderlink forum or to tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au
