The state’s biggest school holiday program returns in Parramatta

360 Allstars preforming

A giant colour-in wall, a liquid nitrogen show, and an international smash hit performance are just some of the exciting activities coming to Parramatta as the City’s school holiday program gets underway from Monday 15 April.

PHIVE, City of Parramatta Libraries, Riverside Theatres and parks across Parramatta will come alive with a combination of free and paid activities in one of the State’s largest school holiday programs.

City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Pierre Esber said Council has thought outside the square to provide families and children with plenty to do.

“We know many families are feeling the pinch right now and not everyone can afford to go on holiday. The good news is you don’t need to go any further than Parramatta for fun-filled, family friendly activities,” Cr Esber said.

“Our school holiday program is not just for families living in the LGA but for every family looking for ways to entertain the kids.”

For the first time, PHIVE is encouraging children to draw on its walls with a huge 100 square metre illustrated canvas installed in the Discovery Space for them to colour in.

Circus comedy Trash Test Dummies will have the family laughing hard while leaving you in awe with incredible acrobatics and the free Ocean Warriors workshop will bring the beach to the CBD with a variety of sea life on display in the hands-on touch pool.

The internationally renowned 360 Allstars returns to Riverside Theatres combining BMX, basketball, breakdancing, beatboxing, acrobatics, and drumming, while Tempo by the Flying Fruit Fly Circus will have the kids gasping in awe with magic, slapstick, juggling and acrobatics around a concert grand piano.

City of Parramatta Libraries will be the coolest place to be with a free, all-ages Liquid Nitrogen Show at Ermington Library while children can also enjoy virtual reality and STEM workshops across the City’s libraries.
