Active Parramatta Van

The Active Parramatta Van is a free service operated by the City of Parramatta. Our aim is to make Parramatta a more active, healthy and connected city through the delivery of free community fitness programs that promote healthy lifestyles across the lifespan:
- Early development
- Mums n Bubs
- Primary school-aged children
- Youth
- Adults
- Better ageing (over 55s)
Objectives
The objectives of the Active Parramatta Van include:
- Increasing awareness of the benefits of healthy and active lifestyles
- Increasing participation to improve the community’s health and well-being
- Improving community cohesion and connectedness through active participation and social inclusion
- Providing access to literacy, educational and recreation programs to connect residents with their local communities and services
- Increasing the presence of partner organisations to deliver community-based, health and well-being outcomes
Term 1 2026
Programs will be open for registration on Friday 23 January 2026 at 9am
Term 1 program dates: Monday 2 February to Friday 27 March 2026.
