An immersive experience showcasing the best of the west

The journey began in the light-filled Ngurra Gunya Room, where local culinary heroes, MISC and LILYMU brought this stunning glass atrium to life, with roaming canapés and bustling food stations. Guests mingled and explored, with every bite designed to suit the flavour and flair of the occasion. 
 

 The guest experience was elevated further in The Great Hall, where the iconic Bearded Bakers stole the show with their high energy, beating drums and signature kanafeh. Prepared in the well-appointed on-site kitchen, this surprise dessert and performance created a lively, multi-layered, immersive experience.

The celebration was originally set to flow out into Parramatta Square, but when the weather turned, the concept was reconceptualised. With clever floorplan redesigns, dramatic lighting and state-of-the-art audio-visual capabilities, the Venue Services team’s creativity and flexibility turned the event into an elevated indoor experience - proving flexibility is just part of the service. 

With more than 10 years in the events industry, Parramatta Town Hall’s Venue Sales Manager, Flanna McKinnirey, knows how to deliver seamless, memorable experiences for clients and their guests.

Taking up the role ahead of the venue’s historic reopening at the end of 2023, Flanna has established strong relationships within Parramatta’s businesses, cultural and community groups, positioning Parramatta Town Hall as the go-to space for impressive client events, industry functions, and celebrations.

Delivering a full-service experience from start to finish, Flanna guided the client from initial site visit and discussions, to developing tailored proposals and agreements and detailed handover to the operations team to ensure they are across all the event details and understand the significance of the occasion.
