The Stormwater Disposal Policy and Development Engineering Design Guidelines apply to all areas within the City of Parramatta Local Government Area.

This policy applies to all new development that requires consent from the City of Parramatta on private land.

This guideline is intended to set out Council’s requirements for the design of stormwater drainage and other engineering elements associated with development.
It is not intended to be a comprehensive design manual nor a stand-alone document but rather to be read in conjunction with relevant instruments, policies, codes, industry guidelines and standards.

City of Parramatta Council only accepts Development Applications (which include modifications,
Section 8.3 Review Applications and Subdivision Certificate Applications) through the NSW Planning Portal.
