ABOUT THE COUNCIL: The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres. It comprises a population of approximately 257,000 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences.

ABOUT THE TENDER: City of Parramatta is seeking to appoint a reputable and competent supplier/s for the delivery of Event Security Services and/or Risk Assessment and Emergency Management Services for the numerous events and festivals that Council stages in the Parramatta Local Government area. These services are presented in two parts (A and B) as follows:

A)    Security Services, including: 

• Consultation for event security services.
• The provision of appropriate planning and reporting documentation for event security services for Council’s events and festivals.
• The delivery of effective, appropriate, and efficient onsite security services for Council’s events and festivals.
• Hold and maintain a Master Security Business License (Class ME) and operate under the Security Industry Act 1997

B)    Risk Assessment and Emergency Management Services

• Consultation for risk assessment and emergency management planning services for Council’s events and festivals.
• The provision of appropriate risk assessment and emergency management planning documentation for Council’s events and festivals.

A final decision is expected to be made on this Tender at the end of October 2021.
